Who Am I?

Muren is an Opportunity Hunter, Self Motivated, Result Oriented and Passionate Strategist.

Muren Guler is the Managing Director of Global Energy which provides consultancy on project and business development to multinational companies related to renewable energy.

He worked for SkyPower as Regional Manager of South-Eastern Europe including Turkey. Muren created utility scale PV opportunities, structured and executed the company’s growth strategies within the region, and managed strategic local and regional partnerships including with government authorities, national and regional utilities. He involved in utility scale project development activities in various countries including Europe, Central Asia and Africa.

Details

Prior to SkyPower, he worked as Country Manager in Bulgaria for Renewable Energy International, headquartered in London, in the development of wind and solar projects where he developed 100 MW+ wind and solar Projects.

Global Energy is a boutique advisory firm and project development company specialised in renewable energy projects worldwide. Global Energy provides a wide range of services and is committed to accompany our partners on the ground in all stages of the development of renewable energy projects from the origination of the opportunity all the way through to commissioning and beyond. Global Energy provides consultancy, project and business development services to various clients including, Global and Local Investors, Offshore Investors and Utility Scale Project Development Companies.

Bulgarian Wind Energy Association

Muren was a founding member of the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association and was a member of Supervisory Board during 2010-2013. He also involved in cross-border electricity trade transactions between Turkey and Bulgaria.

One of the largest Wind Farm in SouthEastern Europe

Muren oversaw the realization of the largest wind park in Bulgaria (SNWF-156 MW) which let him gain extensive hands-on experience including execution of international contracts, project management, and project development. He also gained experience in international trade operations in the Far East, Middle East, Europe, and North and South America. Muren is a special representative of the Energy Globe Award in Turkey. He has been certified by Trump University as having High Potential For Business Success in 2008.

Msc, The Energy Technologies and Management (ETM) , Sabanci University

Muren received a BA in Business Administration from Dokuz Eylul University (Izmir, Turkey) in 2004 and holds MSc Degree in Energy Technologies and Management from Sabanci University (Istanbul, Turkey) since 2014. He is a passionate golf and chess player, horse lover, fan of reading and beside these he is dedicated to his work. He is married. He speaks English, Bulgarian and Turkish.
